Your Horse's Home Away From Home

Where you can collect your Happy.
Welcome to our private homestead: Happy Path Meadows. We don't just provide a place for your beloved equine companion–– you're our barn family and they're our fur-nieces and nephews too. Your horse's well-being is our top priority, and our uniqueness reflects our dedication.

Stall Options:

  • 12 x 12 Stall with an attached medium to large paddock: $900/month; 
  • Private 12 x 12 Stall in a 2-Stall barn with an attached large paddock: $1100/month

Onsite Residents:

  • Our Ranch Hand and I both live on the premises
  • I am a certified Equine and Canine First Aid instructor through Equi-Health Canada/ Equi-First Aid USA and Canine Health Canada.

  • Our friendly and knowledgeable staff is passionate about the well-being of your horse.

Indoor/Outdoor Living:

  • When Indoors, your baby will have 24/7 access to his/her own mud-free, pea-gravel paddock.
  • His/Her stall will be in a beautiful barn  with an outdoor covered and uncovered area in his/her paddock.
  • Pasture or Field turn-out in a herd environment will be available daily when weather conditions permit (we do not turn out in windstorms, lightning storms, super heavy rains, or snow blizzards).

Security:

  • Gated property with nearly fenced perimeter (full perimeter fencing in the works.)

Nutrition and Care:

  • Your horse will be fed a calculated mix of Timothy, Orchard, or other grass as available and quality Alfalfa, per the feeding guidelines of UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine for a balanced nutritional meal, twice daily.
  • Your horse's daily meals will be portioned and weighed to his or her body weight, work schedule, age, and dietary needs, to ensure he/she is getting the correct proportion of feed.
  • We will soak and feed your supplied supplements and vitamins nightly.
  • We will send reminders or notifications for monthly/seasonal needs such as fecal testing, deworming, intestinal maintenance, veterinary or farrier care, etc. 
  • Stall and paddock maintenance: daily when turned out; twice daily when on stall rest.
  • Fresh water (heated water available in winter): checked daily and cleaned on a regular schedule.

  • Locked tack room
  • Outdoor bathroom
  • 70 ft.  x 120 ft. lighted outdoor arena,
  • Approx. 40 ft outdoor round pen (we can set it up, if needed)
  • Indoor H/C wash rack area, outdoor wash rack area (non-heated)
  • Direct access to Lord Hill Park equestrian trail system (1300+ acres laced with trails for equestrians, hikers, and bicyclists)
  • Organized storage provided while you live here: stall door grooming bag, large tack trunk 2 saddle racks per horse.
